I spent the afternoon with the sweetest family and their 3 month old baby boy - his big debut in front of the camera! He was so calm and curious and even let out a few smiles for us. It's also a good reminder that you don't have to jump into newborn photos right away if that's not your thing. It's completely okay to wait a few months to settle into your new rhythm, feel present, and soak in this beautiful season of life with your little one.

Documentary-style photography lets you just be. No stiff posing or "say cheese" moments, just real life as it happens. You get to play with your little one, sneak those sweet glances towards your partner, and take a quiet stroll through the trails under the trees. Meanwhile, I get to stand back and capture it all - the tiny moments that mean the most.
